Guzel Handcrafts is powered by Shopify and uses secure, encrypted connections to protect information submitted during checkout. You can confirm that the connection is secure by looking for “https://” and the lock indicator in your browser.

The options displayed at checkout are the methods currently available for your order, country, currency, and device.

Payment process

1. Authorization: When an order is placed, the selected payment method is authorized and charged for the displayed order total.
2. Billing information: Your name, billing address, and payment details should match the information held by your bank or provider.
3. Order confirmation: After successful payment, we send a confirmation to the email provided at checkout.

Payment issues

If a payment is declined or cannot be completed:

• Confirm that payment and billing details are correct.
• Check that the card has not expired and sufficient funds are available.
• Ask your bank or payment provider whether the transaction is being blocked.
• Try another payment method available at checkout.

Currency

Prices and transaction currency are displayed during checkout. If your payment account uses another currency, your provider may apply its exchange rate or charge conversion or international-transaction fees. Those charges are determined by the provider and are not controlled by Guzel Handcrafts.

Payment security

Payments are processed through Shopify and the payment provider selected at checkout. Guzel Handcrafts does not have access to your complete card number. We may receive limited details such as payment method, card brand, last four digits, billing information, and payment status as needed to process and support the order.

PCI compliance

Shopify is certified as PCI DSS compliant. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is designed to help organizations securely handle card information and reduce payment fraud.

Fraud prevention

Orders may be reviewed or delayed when additional verification is needed. We may contact you to confirm order or payment details. Guzel Handcrafts may cancel an order when payment cannot be verified or fraudulent or unauthorized activity is suspected.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary by provider. Review our Refund Policy for eligibility and return requirements.
