Our story
From one hopeful idea to a growing world of meaningful design.
Guzel Handcrafts began during an uncertain time with a simple goal: create something meaningful, share a little joy, and build a hopeful path forward.

Where it began
A creative beginning in 2020
In early 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic changed lives around the world, Guzel Handcrafts was established as a way to supplement our family’s income.
What began as a practical response to an uncertain moment quickly became something more: an opportunity to create, connect, and share symbols of hope and protection with others.

The first piece
One shadow box started everything
Our first product was an evil eye foam-flower shadow box. It became our flagship design, although at the time we had no idea whether anyone would buy it.
We created a few samples, photographed them, and listed the design on Etsy. The very next day, the first one sold. That single order surprised us, encouraged us, and showed us that this idea could grow.
How we grew
Crafting joy, protection, and connection
A symbol of hope
Our first evil eye shadow box connected creativity with protection and positivity.
The order that changed everything
Our first Etsy sale arrived the day after listing and gave us the confidence to continue.
A growing collection
Evil eyes grew into bags, purses, dreamcatchers, lamps, jewelry, and more.
Looking ahead
The story is still being made.
We are grateful for every customer who has welcomed a Guzel piece into their home or shared one as a gift. We look forward to creating new designs, exploring new traditions, and discovering where this journey takes us next.
